4 inch Lag Pintel
The 4 inch lag pintel is sold separately and like other pintels its purpose is to support the weight of the hinged exterior shutters. The pintel is capable of giving as much as 2 ¼ inch of depth. By sinking the lag pintel further into the mounting surface the hinge offset is reduced. The advantage of the lag pintel is that you can achieve the exact offset desired instead of being limited to stock size pintels. The pintel is constructed from heavy duty steel and is powder coated black.
